Shirkey Golf Course is a challenging 18-hole course located in Richmond, MO only a short distance from Kansas City at Highways 210 and 13. This championship style course is semi-private and was designed by golf course designer and a founding member of the GCSAA, Chet Mendenhall in 1969. Golf Digest ranked Shirkey as a top public course in Kansas City area with a 4 ½ star rating. This 18 hole course features Zoysia fairways and tee boxes with Bent grass greens. With four sets of tees to choose from the par 71 course was designed to maximize the challenges of the game with yardages stretching from 5500 yards to 7020 yards and a course rating of 73.9 with a slope of 126. Shirkey offers a driving range, pro shop, banquet room and restaurant. Shirkey consistently strives to offer golfers of all abilities a great experience.
